These are nice salt & pepper grinders. they are glass & stainless steel, and feel that they will last a while. When you pick them up, they have a nice heft to them. The Amazon picture is accurate. The top screws off to be filled, and is wider so as to make filling easier. The cap on top keeps the grinder (and your counters) clean. There is a little screw like thing that you can twist one direction for a fine grind, and the other way for a more coarse grind. This is such a nice clean set, and looks so professional. You can use it for salt/pepper, or even try some herbs in it, i love it for dried rosemary! I received this at a discount for an honest review that can help you decide to purchase this!
